I was
born and raised in Libby, Montana. Libby is a small town located in the
mountains of Northwest Montana. In 2003, I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
in Painting at Harding University.
That August, I moved to Wuhan, China.
It was here that I met Ted Dahlman, who I married.
In the summer of 2005, we moved to Lubbock, Texas. In September, 2006, the Louise-Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts displayed my
series- Studies in Patriotism. My painting Texas Cares was concurrently used in the promotional material for the 2006 Lubbock-area “Race for the Cure”
events.
Begining in the Fall of 2006, I have been
pursuing a Master’s Degree in Art Education.
Visit http://tenfeetofchina.blogspot.com to view the work I created in partial fulfillment of these requirements.
In May of 2009 I finished
my Master's Degree.
